Hi, I'm Alison! Deeply embarrassed to be here, thanks. I am conquering my fear of living out loud as the version of myself 11-year-old-me would be proud of. Author life is a big part of that.

Over the last few years, I've rediscovered what I knew since Xena Warrior Princess and Sailor Moon: the best adventures are better with kissing. I'm traditionally published in YA fantasy, switching to a new pen name to write adult fantasy with equal parts fantasy, mystery, and romance.

I started writing because of my love of stories. One of my earliest crimes was switching the dust jackets between two books so the wrong one got confiscated before bedtime. I admitted my deceit in the morning, but still activated a curse that will follow my bloodline for centuries.

I live in the Seattle area with my husband. If I keep you up till 4am on a work night because you couldn't put my book down, I've passed on the curse, and I'm finally free.
